About

Aviation Week Network honors 20 students in their Twenties each year currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM). The 20 Twenties program was established by Aviation Week Network in 2013 to recognize talented individuals who are on course to change the face of the aviation, aerospace and defense industry. Criteria are based on academic performance, nominee challenges, public/community involvement, and how they communicate the value of your individual research/design project.

Academic Performance

Honorees excel academically, showing the highest levels of scientific rigor, and a deep understanding of underlying concepts.

Community Involvement

Honorees strive to make a positive impact not only in their industry but in their community as a whole. They inspire others to discover how STEM fields can empower them to make our world a better place.

Nominee Challenges

Honorees have faced different hurdles to get to where they are today.  These situations, advantages, setbacks, and obstacles are part of the journey to reaching their goals.
